In one of the newer carcraft, hotrod or something magazines it shows a picture of a Mcleod Slave Cylinder, and mentions a few words about the improved design. Is this available for LS1s, if so, has anybody tried one?

It's available direct from them; I called on it back in September, they wanted about $425 for it.

 

got one in my garage im waiting (i dont know why) to install. it's adjustable for pedal travel, and seems beefier. it's a 13/16" cyllinder so bigger than stock for a better travel on the throw out bearing.

 

Was I correct on the price guess?

 

think that they're a tad cheaper than that, but would you pay that for one?

got mine for about 220 shipped, and it was new in the box.

 

Heck NO! When my slave and master died in September, they had just came out with the slave. I was highly interested till George at McLeod told me the price - I said good luck selling them at that price. $220 shipped is more reasonable, like 1/2.

 

where did you get it for $220?

 

Thanks for the info.. I want to hear Vents results before I order one.. lemme know when it goes in I know you have a while before your car will be done, but I'm in no hurry..
