So the other day i was driving home from work on the highway and when i went to shift from fifth to sixth it would not go. So clutch in clutch out couple times try sixth again...nothing try fifth nothing.. no gear would engage pull over to side of road no gear would engage tried clutch in out, pulling up on clutch still same. Finally got it into first after sitting for maybe five min started driving to pull into a safer spot and car shifted fine from this point on with no issues. Have never had any issues for the last year and half have owned the car, anyone have a similar issue or know what it may be?

What clutch is being used? I would start by checking the fluid in the reservoir to see if the level is good and that fluid is in cood condition. If it is dark or cloudy then you should flush and refill the system. Also, make sure there is no evidence of a leak under the car or on the fire wall. Let us know what you find.

Alright well I'm having the exact same problems. Reverse is kinda hard to get into and 6th is pretty ignorant sometimes... so I need a NEW MC? or just flush the tranny fluid?

No, that is more than likely a transmission issue. Hydraulics are going to affect all gears, not just one or two like you're experiencing.

now that you say that a couple days ago i noticed that when clutch fully pushed to floor my car would creep a little, on level ground im talking obviously...but this does not happen all the time i thing i will try m/c.

If the car is creeping after the pedal is depressed the hydraulics are not able to maintain pressure. This means that there is either air in the system or that the slave or master are leaking (internally since there is no evidence of a leak).
