Default Let's talk clutches

I'm building an LQ4 bored to 6.2 with L92 heads and LS3 intake and a nice mild cam. I thinking about 450HP to the wheels. I'm using a T-56 and I am shopping for a clutch kit with the flywheel. Any clutches you guys have used and liked? Price matters. I'm looking at monster's website and have heard they are smooth.

Monster for the win. 18 lb lightweight aluminum flywheel and tick adjustable master cylinder.

carrera pink but it would help if this was in the manual trans section. to answer your question any good clutch will be ok just depending what your going to do with it. i would go with a full disc TDP or Monster. see what fits your budget but anything they offer will cover you. lucky for ones on a budget, cheaper ones will generally feel more like stock.

Since your basically building a mild LS3, why not an OEM LS3 clutch? There are tons of like new 5th gen camaro takeoffs out there. I am all for the upgraded clutches when they are needed, but unless you are planning on big power down the road why waste the money?

The LS3 make 436 flywheel horsepower. He's going for 450 rwhp. That stock clutch wouldnt stand a chance for long anyways. Get a monster and call it good.
