i have a 94 lt1 camaro and im looking to see if a 95 5 speed tranmission (from a v6 camaro) will fit in mine? any help?? if so what would i need?

 

Not without more money in fabrication and bullshit than you're willing to spend on a T56 rebuild.

 

Also, you'll shred that thing to bits...

 

i mean i looked at it and has the same tail pieace and what not but idk if it will mount to the crank right. so i guess its not worth it than if im just gonna "shred" the tranny either

 

The only Chevy V6 engine that has a similar bell housing bolt pattern to the LT-1 is the 4.3L V6' which did not come in the Camaro. the mid-90s Camaro came with a 3.4L or 3800 cc V6, and the gearboxes that came behind these motors has a different BH bolt pattern than a LT-1. Is your gearbox from a 4.3L V6?

 

I don't think any gm factory 5 speed would handle much power at all but I could be wrong. I busted my T5 with my cammed 305 in my 86 T/A not long ago. The cases are to weak.

 

stock s-10 v6 5 speed handle 2 years of big block torque no problem, works better then this 4300 dollar pos t56 i bought from tick

esxp whatever the the hell your name is, the input shaft length is different it can be done but is not worth the trouble.
