4:30 gears?? what rpms at 70mph????

Default 4:30 gears?? what rpms at 70mph????

Thinking about getting 4:30 gears in my M6 WS6, what rpms will I be at running 70mph. Thank-you.

I personally wouldn't run a 4:30 unless you plan on modding internally. 4:10's are PLENTY of gear for a stock internal LS1. Especially if you don't have 28 inch slicks to run on, you will run out of gear in the 1/4 w/ 4:30's and stock internals...

Well not to change the original post, but what is the RPM in 6th gear at 70MPH with a 4.11?

There is no way. W/ 4:11's and 17 SS wheels, I'm well over 1900 rpm @ 70 mph...

I run 1800 rpms now with 4:11s on my 17” stock wheels and tires, should be more with 4:30s. Is there a calculation to figure this out?

yeah just take 1800 times 4.30 divided by 4.11 to get your new rpm
