what clutch???
so i took the car to the track for the first time and was havinh all kinds of problems. but mostly was the shiftjng issue these cars have. so, im in the market for a new clutch since i smoked this one at the track. im currently running a diamond stae 2 clutch and imo, is junk. ive already had one of these replaced and this probably has 1000 miles on it and my first outing at the track, it takes a ****. so. i make 571rwhp. my goal hp is 750 rwhp. so im thinking some sort of a twin disc that is still streetable. i have a buddy who ran thr mcleod rst and he said h broke 2 trannies cuz of how harsd it engages. also heard the RAM clutches are junk. so i dont know what to buy. its my street car that i take to the track sometimes...also need a suggestion for an adjustable master cylinder....tick, mcleod??
thanks

Do you think you will go much above the planned 750hp in the future? I ask because I want to insure that you get something that suits your needs now and later! Either way we offer 4 different Super-Twin clutch kits and either the SST (which uses a hybrid disc with Kevlar on one side and a carbon-graphite-semi-metallic puck on the other) or the PT (which has the carbon-graphite-semi-metallic puck on both sides) should meet your needs. I have provided a link to the site specific to these kits below (which include the clutch assembly and steel flywheel). Take a look and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

yea. the first time he replaced it no problems. i haven't contacted him about this one and i don't think i will. id want a partial refund and i doubt he'd do that. i don't wanna put another one of their clutches and have to change it again in a few months. don't get Mr wrong, Jason is a cool dude, but Im not impressed with their clutches at all.
I've been lookin at your guys' setups. i won't ever go over 8-850rwhp. ill pm you in a few days and see what we can work out. i have to figure out a few things first before i make a purchase.

[QUOTE=allout06;16315754]Im not sure, but i dont want an on/off clutch. the 571 was on a dynojet .
I would say a twin disc for sure. I have a spec stage 3 before and i did not like the on/off pedal i would rather have the more stock feel, that's why i went to Diamond 2.
Let me know which you go with and how it works. so i can have future reference for when i build something faster.

FBG, we offer lots of options other than Stage 3. These options include 6 other single-disc kits, 4 Super-Twins and 3 Mini-Twin/Triple kits too. A number of these provide great drivability. It just comes down to picking the kit that best fits your needs. Let me know if you have any further questions! Thanks,

I own Monster Clutch Co. and I know Jason at Diamond/TDP very well and I can guarantee you we're not at all the same. This rumor started a few years ago and has been put down a hundred times in the past.
It's odd you are saying this when your second Diamond has failed, I would assume that anyone researching where to buy a product would get the story from both owners as opposed to listening to hearsy. Call me, I'll go over why I believe ours is best and I'll clear up the b.s. you've heard.
For the record -
Our Level 2 has gone high 10's, our 3's low 10's, our 4's have gone high 9's, our 11" Ceramics have gone mid 9's and have held over 1100rwtq on our in house dyno. I know that Jason is a great guy, but, he can't say that.
I'll post up videos shortly to back the claims I made in the last paragraph... if it doesn't change your mind then nothing will.

Your understanding is incorrect. Last time I checked Diamond doesn't offer an 11" unit...
