Default t56 stage 2 from tdp vs. t56 magnum from summit?

I'm looking into buying or rebuilding my t56 n don't know what to do if to get the stage 2 from texasdrivetrainperformance or the t56 magnum from summit?only thing wrong with mine is no 5,6 n all gears grind

T56 stage2 $1000-$1800
T56 magnum $3000 but will withstand up to 700 ft.-lbs of torque

I have had the T56 magnum for over a year and love it. No issues whatsoever.

The Magnum is stronger obviously but isn't a direct bolt in for an f body. Shifter is further forward and there's no where to bolt a trans mounted TA.

I put a stage 2 kit from tick in the t56 in my 89. It shifts nice but nothing significantly ups the strength.

That's very apples to oranges in comparison...

How much power are you making and how are you using the car?

Thanks everyone! It takes moderate modifications to adapt an f-body tailhousing to the Magnum. That's why the built/upgraded Magnum w/ SSR tailhousing sells for $4200-5000 depending on where you buy it. So you chose wisely
