Default Recommend me a clutch pls...

Going into a 2002 ls1/t56 thats being put into a ~3200lb M3.
Cam only, plan on around 420whp.
Daily driver friendliness and road course tracked occasionally.
Do i need a new flywheel also or can i resurface the stocker?
Nothing super high dollar please.

Also anything else i should replace while im in there?
Thanks!

Ive tried in the past to reuse the OEM flywheel and it did ok but ive had better results with just buying a complete set up...balanced as a unit...
At your power level Monster Level 1 or Level 2 single should be fine an they are great to deal with.
Just had Tick Performance install a Monster Level 1 Twin and after only 200 miles or so it is starting to smooth out nicely.

Sounds like an awesome set-up, LS1 powered BMW's are always fun! I would suggest our Stage 2+. You can use a stock LS1 flywheel if you like but we also offer a Billet Steel and Billet Aluminum option as well. If the flywheel you have is used it needs to be resurfaced and if it has been cut previously it really ought to be replaced. I have provided a link to our LS1 part below. Reference the second set of parts on the page and let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!!

If cost and DD ability are a factor look into the LS7 system. Your cars weight and power output are similar to the Corvette it is designed to work in. The FW/disc and PP can be had for under $500. Nothing feels more like a factory clutch more than a factory clutch.

+1....i have the Stage 2+ with Spec steel flywheel, it's excellent....i followed the instructions carefully during break in and i have no chatter.....make sure you install the spacer behind the slave cyl and use the throwout bearing they supply in the kit....ARP flywheel and pressure plate bolts are a good idea too....torque everything to proper spec....23k miles on mine with mods in sig and it's still going strong.

+2 on that. Spec Stage 2+ clutch with the lightened rebuildable pressure plate option + Jeremy's support. It's a great combination. I've got 1500 hard miles on mine and not a single issue has popped up. I beat the crap out of my car.

Id go with a monster stage 2 and get the lightweight flywheel. Feels like stock but takes a beating at the road courses NP. Also has an AWESOME warranty on it as well.
