Default What slave is safe?

I was looking at some old threads about what slave to get. Some say GM only. Some say that they found the same exact one from GM at their local auto parts store.

What should I really be looking for when I get a slave? If I can save some money by not going GM... I would love it

I would go back with a GM unit. They are reasonably priced as well

Hope they last longer than my OEM water pump. 30K miles and it's leaking again!

Haha well it's good to know that someone had a bad one at the parts store(or bad to know? haha) One store told me that theirs was made by Borg Warner.... How about that? Does anyone know who makes the GM one?

BTW - In case you missed it, AC Delco IS NOT the same as GM for this part. The Delco is definitely NOT the one you want.
