I am waiting for my Tick master to show up, and contemplating ordering a speed bleed line. The reason i didnt order one right off, is that i am under the impression that you need to pull the trans mission to install it.

Can it be installed with out removing the transmission?

You are correct! That is why mine is still in the box it came in. You might not have to pull it all the way out. But it would have to pulled back at least 4-5 inches so you could get to it.

Trans has to be removed to install the bleeder unfortunately.

its so worth it have it installed, i bled my clutch 3 times last year over the 7000 miles i put it and it does make a difference . Im glad i did it when i did my clutch

I installed mine without removing the trans. Keep in mind if you drop anything you will need to pull it. I had to make a tool to tighten the line inside the bell housing plus I cut a hole in the tunnel for access.

Does anyone have pictures of how the speed bleeder sits in the engine bay? Is it secured to anything?

I have one in my garage and my transmission is currently out of the car.

Mine is run down by the brake lines. It comes out about midway at the door. That's where i put mine

There is no set way to mount it. You can do whatever you want. I am just going to find a place under the hood thats out of the way and easy to get to and tyrap it to something.

Mine runs up next to the power brake booster, and is removable zip-tied to the clutch reservoir.

Mine just Runs up with the firewall beside the brake booster and its ty-wrapped up on top of the strut tower. So when it time to bleed the clutch, i cut two ty-wraps pull out down and sit on the drivers seat sideways pumping the clutch and cracking the bleeder into the bucket! so simple!

Please tell us more about tool that you made.

So this is how I made the tool.
I cut the side out of a socket so it could fit over the hose but retain the fitting.
Welded a tube to it and Slotted the tube for about 6 inches. Then used channel locks on the end of the tube to tighten.
It is similar to an oxygen sensor socket.
I used a piece of paper between the socket and fitting to make it tight (easier to control)
I used just a very small amount of glue at the outside edge to keep the copper washer from falling off the fitting during assembly.
