Heard a few guys say that DOT4 NON synthetic was the way to go (For Monster clutches at least). Also heard alot of guys running ATE blue as both clutch and brake fuild. What fluid are you guys running?
FYI, I'm currently going to be running Pennzoil Synchomech for trans fluid, and undecided on the brake & clutch fluids.
Maybe Tick or Monster could comment on this. My car is a 99.9% street car, but I'm looking to make the most of my new hydraulics.

Just picked up 4 quarts of Pennzoil Synchromech for the transmission, ordered ATE Super Blue for the clutch, and Valvoline Dot 4 Synthetic for my brakes.
Ordered the ATE because it has a ridiculously high boiling point, and figure that the blue fluid will be easier to identify when a fluid change is needed.

I use the Prestone synthetic DOT4 and have been for about 2.5 years now. My clutch fluid says crystal clear. I've never even flushed it or bled it since install, and it's still clear. I'm running Monster Stage 2 and Tick master.

I put Amsoil Torque Drive ATF in my c5 and it shifts like butter now, made a huge difference! I run just DOT 3 in my Tick master from Peak. It has always stayed clear and I bleed it with my Tick bleeder once a month, sometimes 2 depending on how I've driven. My set up is a Monster Stage 2 w/ 18lbs flywheel and Tick Master/Speed Bleeder.

Where are you guys finding non-synthetic brake fluid? All brake fluid at all of my auto parts stores are synthetic, so that's what I've been running so far but I'd really like to switch to non-synthetic.

I ended up ordering the ATE Super Blue from a vendor online (don't think they're a sponsor, so pm me if you need their info). Fluid was $20 for 1L, plus shipping. I'm running this now and absolutely love the combo.
Tick Master + Monster Stage 2 + MGW Shifter = Best mods to date for me.
