Default Needing clutch advice for 1200hp...

There is a local guy here who has a C5 with a TT408 which has pegged the dyno at 1200hp. Yes, I have seen the dyno sheets.

Anyways...he is needing a new clutch, right now he is running a Centerforce, and its about ready to let go...I suggested the Spec Stg III cause I have had some experience with them, and thought they were awesome.

What would you guys recommend?? TIA!

mcleod or the stage 5. i don't think the stage 3 would do it.

Excellent...I totally forgot to ask him what drivability concerns were...if any. I havent personally seen the car run yet...but it has trapped 140 soo far in the 1/4.

I would think the Mcleod would be more driveable than a Stg 5 Spec.

The SPEC stage 5i is very streetable so far. I was impressed. Its gonna be tough to get a long lasting clutch to hold that power and be streetable.

how bout you show US the dyno sheets?

140mph is on par for about 700 hp. but even at that i have no idea how a centerforce is holding.

i run a spec.
