Default First time out with new McLeod RXT

Installed new McLeod RXT clutch in my stock shortblock SS.
Broke clutch in and went to LSX shootout in Indy.
Super happy so far with this clutch.
Got back to back 1.37 60' . Clutch seems awesome so far!

I'm very near purchasing that clutch. Everything I've read about it is very positive, stock like pedal pressure, modulates nicely on the street, bites.

My only concern is Hi RPM shifting, I dug thru your build thread (very nice BTW) trying to find your power level & shift rpm. Seems to be TSS Top Super Secret Would you comment on shift RPM, lift?

I shift at 7100 rpm's. The stock shortblock likes it!

RXT clutch here, I flat foot shift it at 7100-7400 with a 7600rpm limiter. Love this thing.

i was debating on getting this clutch as well. few questions:

What style flywheel and brand are you running?
Type of master cylinder?
Does this clutch require shims?
Work with stock T56 bell housing?
Style of slave?
Does it require balancing or can you just install it?
Special install instructions?
Why did you pick RXT over RST?
If desired, could you run this with a stock LS1 flywheel?

1. Ram steel flywheel
2.McLeod adj master
3. No shims.
4. Yes, works with stock bell housing.
5. GM slave
6. No balancing
7. Nothing out of the ordinary for installation
8. Rxt is good for 1000hp so I wanted room to grow
9. Should be able to run stock flywheel

Sweet. Right now i have an LS7 clutch, so i would need a new fly wheel anyway.
