Finally Upgraded To MGW
I finally pulled the trigger on the F-Body MGW shifter. Everything arrived yesterday, and I hope to have it installed tonight. I also bought their composite race ****, which I have to say, is easily the best looking and feeling shift **** I've ever seen/had my hands on. I talked to the guys at MGW because there is no specific F-Body shift *****, and they told me the 1990-2004 Mustang shift ***** will work on the F-Body 12mm x 1.75 pitch option. Unpackaged everything last night, and the **** fits perfectly. Can't wait to get this thing installed and try it out. May be next week before I get to actually drive the car, as they are calling for snow this weekend. Anyway, I'll update the thread later today with pictures and let everyone know how I like it. I did a lot of research on the various shifter options before purchasing, and everything led me to MGW.

I can't lie, I've missed third gear a few times with tbe stock Hurst. One thing that's really noticable is the difference in the actual stick. The MGW stick is stout. I assume the tube of gasket sealant goes on the bottom of the shifter base when I mount it to the trans?

Also if you haven't changed your transmission fluid in a while now's your chance since have the filer hole right there under the shifter.

Pics will be taken and uploaded once I get back home.
Maybe a really stupid question, but when I had the Monster clutch/Tick hydraulics installed, wouldn't the transmission fluid have been drained when they removed the trans?
