Default Broken shift cups

Why does my MGW break the plastic shift cups within a week of putting them on?? It has went through the stock 1 in a week.. figured it might've been cracked already or something, replaced it with another one and broke it into pieces within a week. I have now upgraded to bronze but just wondering if there is an underlying issue.

Interesting, I just installed an MGW and broke this cup on my first hard shift. I bought the bronze one immediately. Just installed it last night. I think I may take the shifter off after a few more hard shifts and see if there is any damage to the bronze one..

Nothing is addressed there lol. I already bought the metal one. I am asking why my MGW is breaking plastic ones almost immediately.

You can lead a horse to water but that doesn't make him any smarter.

Looks to me like the shift lever on the MGW doesnt extend far enough down into the cup. I have a stock Hurst I can measure if you'd like to compare to the MGW.

We manufacture a complete line of tool grade bronze shift cup bushings designed for hard abuse and far better that the factory plastic cup.
