Default stock clutch -- whats my problem?

Ok i've got a 99 Z with 28k miles on it.

First question, when the car is cold, my headlights and interior lights dim noticably after i let the clutch out. Why is it doing this and is it a problem to be concerned with?

Second and more important question is after i get on it hard and bang through a few gears, go back to normal more calm driving the clutch pedal will stick when im letting it out. It will come out partially and then stick for a second then come the rest of the way out. Its fine when im racing it, and fine under normal driving. I haven't done anything with the trans yet, its 100% stock, whats going on?

Default same crap

My 99 Z does the same thing. Seems like it sticks more in the summer than it does in the winter. Not really sure what it is and nobody has ever really responded with a fix or an answer to what is causing it. Let me know when you get an answer. See ya.

It's the pre '00 slave. Needs to be replaced with a "00 or newer. Then do the infamous drill mod to it. Since your in there and you have 80k on the ticker I'd replace the whole clutch.

Some people have reported temporary success after bleeding the clutch but it just comes back.

I got a 2001 slave in mine and it acts the same way as yours does... Save your money on that 01 slave and just bleed your system real good first. The 2001 Slave is not going to help you...

Do a search on this... Nine Ball has posted a few times about this exact problem and he has offered up the best advice(IMO) about how to fix it.
