clutch isn't disengaging ... hydraulic issue..
So my 01 camaro SS is having clutch issues (was having them before I did the rear but needed to sort rear out first)
Essentially the clutch is bled but feels like it isn't bled properly. car wont disengage clutch when depressing.
Going to be replacing the master and doing the drill mod per my tuner's suggestion seems that this is the problem. Cause when I don't have an issue with the pedal the clutch is strong still (not slipping) and the fluid is fresh in it.

seems like the problem was the master it was a bitch to re-bleed the whole system seriously took like over an hour but now the clutch feels brand new... so its sitting tonight and gonna drive it tomorrow and hopefully all is well.

That was definitely the problem clutch feels brand new now. I feel like alot of shops would encourage you to change the slave (big labor) so my suggestion would be if your having similar symptoms to change the master first and bleed it well.

My clutch wont disengage anymore either.. I went from reverse to forward and came to a stop and the car died. I started it back up and couldn't get it in gear..
Never had any other issue prior to this. I'm thinking I may have the same issue.. 125k miles might be the master or slave.. If it was the clutch itself I would think I would have issues with slippage not complete failure at once..
What do you guys think?

Since it seems like it's the easiest thing for me to do and inexpensive I think i'm going to change that you.. Also the fluid is pretty black and I was doing some reading that that's another sign of a bad master..
Thanks!

If you're doing the master upgrade to an adjustable unit, and install a remote bleeder. It'll suck the first time but you'll thank yourself in the long run. You might be able to get away with just bleeding your clutch for now, but IMO bleeding without a remote bleeder sucksssssss.

while your MC could certainly be your problem.....worth a "look" under the bellhousing for any signs of leaking hydraulic fluid coming from slave. It may be difficult to see especially if the slave just "weeps" some
either the MC or slave will eventually fail....just like any other car part
I now have the Wilwood MC that came with my McLeod Twin. Nice unit.
