Default T56 aftermarket shifters?

Hey guys.
I need an aftermarket shifter to sit where mine lines up.
It's at the very rear opening where the usual 6 bolt cover and linkage goes.
Hoping there's one i can buy that sits here without the linkage taking it further back.

Please let me know what's around.
Thanks

I wouldn't call it "6 bolt" or you may confuse others into thinking it's a T56 Magnum shifter.

Your offset shift lever is the longer Monaro / GTO piece and requires a Monaro / GTO shifter.
The GMM Ripshifter is an option that would fit well with a straight stick.

Another way to go is to get the offset shift lever for a Camaro and shifter too. Lots more shifter options for less $, at least in the states.

Yea had a bit more of a hunt around and found a lot of people running the hurst, billet, ripshifter, mgw, etc. Fair few out there to suit my application.
Thanks guys.

What box are you using ?

If it's an FBody box, then any FBody shifter will do.

If it's a GTO box then you'll need to use an FBody shifter cup and then any FBody linkage

The cup is the bit in the middle of the photo held in by the roll pin.

Email me or call me. We build custom short throw shifters for all types of applications of swap cars, retro fit applications, as well as late model GM cars, Magnum transmissions, and even some Mustang applications. I also stock short throw shifters that we build for the 98-02 F-body (looks like ours will drop right in place from the photos) and the 04-06 GTO. I also have the ability to custom build a combination of the two.

This is an example of the F-Body shifter that we build on a F-Body T-56.

I'm from Australia so struggling to find a F body shifter cup.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

F-Body is on the left, GTO/Monaro is on the right

I have a powertower 5.0 shifter. It's decent but the bolts tend to loosen once every 4-5 months and it's a bit annoying.
I wouldn't buy it again....

I was considering a pro 5.0 for my Camaro because I don't want a radically short throw. Couldn't some Loctite easily remedy this issue?

Thanks for the help guys.
Being from Aus, I opted for a local one that it essentially a F body one with doglegged shifter that I'll just alter.
The factory linkage I was having dramas with looks like this for those who are interested.

That's just the standard Monaro shifter.

The likes of the Ripshifter would be a drop in replacement and the base is more akin to an F Body, but the stick then runs a large offset

Yea I said it's the factory one and yep that's the one I bought as I couldn't be bothered sourcing F body pivot cup as well with a crap exchange rate for us currently.
