Default 98-02 T56 deal, lend me some input

I am looking at a deal that I am about to run and jump on. Need some input.

F-body stage 2 rebuilt t56, comes with Tick master and speed bleeder, slave, BMR cross member, BM ripper shifter

I can get it all for $2200. What do you all think?

Does it have any miles on it? Does he have all the receipts? What stage 2 kit? I don't like the B&M shifter, but thats a decent bit less than I spent having mine rebuilt.

he says 3k miles. I believe that, it looks like it is brand new with just a little bit of dirt that started getting on it in small places.

Going to ask for receipts and everything in person, he is only 36 minutes from me in person.

BM ripper shifter

Yeah the big thing here is going to be receipts (hopefully with a serial number or something) it's easy to pressure wash a 140k mile trans and make it look good.

I'm always extremely weary of engine/trans rebuilds done by the end (DIY) user.

Like, why is every motor and trans you see for sale a "fresh rebuild"????

Hopefully it's good inside.

he has built a few. Worst comes to worst I get it rebuilt by a guy who charges 150$ only to put whatever parts in that I bring him. And he is a master builder.
