Trans am manual question
So I picked up a 99 transam with a manual trans , I'm kinda new to manuals , but when i go to shift gears some times I need to pull up on the clutch all the way to get it in gear .... would that be just like the master cylinder i should replace or could it be more into the clutch area... thanks

Also another thing I noticed is if the clutch is all the way to the floor it makes like a metal sounds , I have to keep it like a inch off the floor or else it does that....... I am willing to just do a full clutch and slave and all that good stuff , just not sure how to tell if it's actually the transmission, dont wanna take it out do all this and put back in and trand is **** ....

That is very unusual...is this car standard ? Do you know what clutch etc is in there ?
Metallic noises are rarely good...unless the noise you hear is the rattle of a multiplate clutch when fully disengaged.

Pedal return pressure is created by the pressure plate. While I agree the hydraulics likely need attention I would replace the clutch, pilot bearing, everything.
Look at it this way. It takes 50 lbs to push the pedal in. When you let up there should be 50 lbs pushing back against it to return the pedal. If there is not, it is likely that adjustment on the factory pressure plate is at its limit.

Gonna change the master and bleed it all out and that good stuff , still a issue I will just do a full clutch, slave ,bearing and flex plate job .... Ny specific kit yall would recommend to handle like 400 ish HP , just gonna do headers exhaust until this 200k motor blows and then slap in a built motor
