T56 magnum reverse lock out kit....or not

Default T56 magnum reverse lock out kit....or not

I'm doing a ls3 t56 magnum swap....I got a reverse lock out kit with it.....PSI is saying I dont need it because the computer does the reverse lock out....is this true or do I need the kit?

Depends what "computer" you're using. I doubt your home PC would do it.

Is this a T56 (TR6060) Magnum modified for F-Body or a stock form Magnum?

This is a LS3 Crate motor with a New Silver Sport T56 Magnum Kit.....GM computer

If it's a stock computer, then let it do its job, part of which would be to control the reverse lockout. Your wiring loom should have the connector etc for it.

Ok....so I don't need the reverse lockout box that came with the transmission?

I have a PSI wiring harness and there is a plug for the so am I correct in saying that I don't need that control box from Silver sport?

The GM ecu would normally control it....so again, if the wiring loom etc is correct and ecu correct, then it should control it still.
