Default Clutch Replacement from Monster Stg 2

I am currently preparing to order a magnum F trans to replace my T56 this week. I have been running a Monster Stg 2 since 2013 and about 12k on this clutch with no issues other than a weird engagement which is at the top of the travel even with my tick adjustable but more of a ergonomics thing, love the clutch. I had the clutch out about 5k ago when I swapped in my new motor and it was in great shape still. I do not launch the car, or beat on it too much and just cruise mostly. Car is probably about 475-500 range if that (should prob dyno it, L92,228r cam, heads are PRC STG 2.5 317s milled to 62ish cc). Built to have low end for autocross, short HDPE tracks but not drag racing.

One part of me wants to just stab in the new magnum with this clutch and ride it until it croaks. Another part of me wants to just swap in another clutch like another Stg 2, or twin like the LT-1 S. Just wondering how many miles you normal driving guys get out of a monster stg 2? Am I crazy for leaving this in and riding with it until it dies? Is a twin overkill?

If you put in the twin, it will be the last clutch you do.

Thanks. Just bought a C6Z so sounds like the more prudent thing is to take the trans up to TDP for a rebuild and I'll put a Monster twin in at the same time this fall. My WS6 T56 was rebuilt when I converted it to an LS1 Front plate and input shaft along with forks, syncros, etc)about 5k ago, but has probably 200k on it so compared to the T56 in the Z it is SLOPPY, so figure it is going to need some heavy parts at least checked. Monster LT1-S incoming though

If you’re going to tdp, why not just roll with the clutch they sell? I have one, and have been super pleased with it. Running the lightweight flywheel too

Yes they carry diamond. I may have spoke too soon on being pleased with their clutch .. just found this out yesterday while having some other work done to mine as well.
My stage 2 is actually a stage 4 that got installed, and it appears it’s wearing poorly from a not flat flywheel. About 1k miles on this one.

Go with a RXT clutch and be done.
