If someone made a video of how to do this and then rent it out or sell copies. I would be first in line for one!!! Just my 0.00002

Would a stock T56 work if I'm also considering swapping to an LS3 at the same time?

Hey im putting a lsx/t56 into a 70s nova. I ordered a standalone harness for the car with a 60e plug and trans plugs. What all plugs will i need to rewire in there im assuming the speed signal is the same with 60e. Do I need to disect the stock 60e plug?

When doing a complete engine/tranny swap from a 2k to a 99, including the PCM moved over from the M6 to the A4, is there anything else to watch out for in the wiring apart from the parts like clutch sensor, reverse light and reverse lockout solenoid? Would like to keep the A4 harness, as I assume it's a major PITA to replace it ...

The slave cylinder spacer for the LT-1 T-56 has been discontinued,as are some of the bolts. The pressure plate to fly wheel bolts(10079898) has been discontinued,The U-bolt for clutch master cylinder (14076942) has been discontinued,as is the console plate for the 6 spd.

I know I maybe able to source these from E-bay but most salvage yards around here are dried up to the 93-97 cars.

Hope this helps someone before they tear there cars down.

I just did a A4 to M6 swap on my '98 and now have a problem with my my ignition. When I turn the car off and remove the key the windows, radio, and all accessorys work. When I place the key into the accessory location the car is in the off position. Has anyone had this problem, possibly just fliping a connector??

Thank you

What are you guys doing with THIS cable after your A4-->M6 switch?

I assume its the ignition lockout cable that locks the key when you arent in park. Can i just cut it or would that perma-lock the system?

i have since answered my own question.

it is the ignition lock cable. you can just remove it and youll be fine.

Once you take the steering column out, youll see where the cable connects to. Its just held on by two philips head screws. you MIGHT be able to undo it without taking out the steering column but i doubt it.
