Broke my spec III what now?
after a break in of about 400 -450 miles i took the car to the track, after 4 passes in came undone. when i grabbed second gear the rpm's shot straight up and now it makes a god aweful grinding noise.
what will hold the power i am making? check my sig for the #'s
i'm thinking spec V right now but what do others running this power level
use.

Definately wouldnt suggest a Stage 5. I broke my Stage 5 and I only ran at the track a few times, mainly because it wouldnt hold. My car is still down right now trying to get the situation taken care of.

my spec 4 is still holding great after dozens of 1.4 60ft launches and the ram 910 disk is a awsome piece also.
antzo1ta, i can tell you that part of your problem is that you car is a freakin tank and that kills a cluth in a hurry trying to throw that much weight forward. most high hp m6 guys that have long living cluthches are 3400lbs range or less. but you should have gotten more out of a clutch than that although its the rating on the spec 3 like a max torque of 600lbft.? on the motor, you need a stage 5 but they are a race clutch, not much of a street clutch with there disk design, if you street drive most of the clutches that hold 600rwtq on the street much i wouldnt expect them to last. the stage 5 is a on/off clutch, not suposed to try and slip it. you may want to look into a ram, but i have had great luck with my streetable stage 4.
