Master and Slave upgrade

Anyone ever use aftermarket for the 00+ upgrade. Just curious because I can get these from O'Reiley's for $100 together. Of course it wouldnt be worth it if they didnt do any better than the '99 junk I have on there now. Thoughts?

I know that GM only updated the slave.

I know nothing of the O'Reileys brand though...

I thought they updated the master too? I would assume that since aftermarket companies copy cat GMs design they would be using the updated slave as well.

I work at O'Reilly's......

The master and slave are good parts, just as a personal prefernnce, I would go with the GM parts over the O'Reilly parts. That is just me though.

I initially thought so too, and it took me awhile to figure it out. If you call a GM parts dealer, he should assure you that the master is the same from 98+.

Ask them to do a parts history on the part number, and that should confirm it. I did my upgrade only 7 months ago on my '98 Z28.
