Impressions of Mcleod adjustable master cylinder
This thing kicks so much ***! Shifts are much more crisp and smooth, and getting the car in gear is easier than ever. I wish I had bought one of these a LONG time ago! Daily driving the car is much easier, and speedshifts feel much more solid now while racing (or merging on the tollway or whatever ). I would highly recomend this piece to anyone with a T56!

The mcleod adjustable master ages ago has been ESSENTIAL in making my setup work. No more clutch disengagement problems since it was installed.
Cant beleive you went this long without one....how the hell did you drive that thing before?

I can't agree with you more!! It totally rocks. I think this Mcleod Adj master is the ticket regardless of what type of clutch you are running!

Re: Impressions of Mcleod adjustable master cylinder
I'm putting a McLeod adjustable master and "145" slave in this weekend. I checked several sources for price. One of this board's sponsors, Thunder Racing, had the best deal by far at $200 plus shipping. The next closest price I got was $269. I hope this setup works as well for me as it has for others. I'm tired of sloppy feel, partial engagement, grinding gears, and sticking clutch pedals.
One question I have is: the instructions with the McLeod unit say to remove .800 off the slave return spring. Has anybody done this? I'm thinking of leaving the return spring stock, without modification.

I have done countless Mcleod installs and have never once modified the factory return spring without any problems. Good luck with the install!
