Default Centerforce guys inside

hey guys

I called up Centerforce on friday and they recommended their DFX series to me.

I was wondering whose had experience with these? Problems?

looking to have 400-450wrhp, plus 150 shot ontop,

with my 9", DR's and 4000+RPM clutch dumps

how will she do?

Look into the Spec 3+, that clutch will handle anything you can throw at it.

Its a good thing you have that 9".... the stock rear end would EXPLODE! But about the clutch I have heard good obout the Spec 4.

I have a Dual Friction and a car that puts out 407rwhp. I installed it back in 1999. I have ran the car through over 200 1/4 mile runs of sub 13 sec times. I did this on 275-50-16 Drag Radials with the stock rear end and girdle. The girdle gives the ring bearing support and strengthens the rear up some 25-35% depending on who you talk to. I also have the LPE 3.5" DS and a Tracklinc bar. No broken gears or rear ends yet. It works great! Just make sure you change the hydraulic fluid after each trip to the track if you are planning 4-5K drops.

The DFX is just the new and improved version. I have had more than one car with Centerforce clutches in them and I am sold. Good luck with whatever you decide.
