Default ARP pressure plate and flywheel bolts..

I installed my LS7 clutch setup and we used ARP bolts on the pressure plate and flywheel. We never put locktite on the bolts, just the ARP lube and torqued them to spec. Is this going to be a problem or will the ARP bolts be less prone to back out than stockers?

My ARP pressure plate bolts began backing out after only 1000 miles, and I DID use blue Loctite. I recently took everything apart, and used red Loctite and more torque to remedy the issue.

Ah damn, that's not what I wanted to hear. How many miles are you on now since that happened?

At about 1000 miles, one bolt had begun backing out, and the other five were loose, looser than the 52 ft-lbs I had torqued them too.

Just got done last night fixing the same problem with around 1000 miles. Used the blue Loctite and 65lbs and they backed out. This time we used the Red (ALOT) and 100lbs and we willl see how it goes. This is on a forged 347 with a Vortech BTW if that matters, its really stressing the bolts more than a resonable stock car.

I ended up taking it all apart and using red locktite with 70 ft lbs of torque before I ever drove it. When you're driving what happens to indicate the bolts are backing out?

Anyone know the length of the flywheel to crank bolts?
