Got one here
SPEC dual disk setup, lighter than stock PP,smooth engagement. Has held 840hp/840tq so far without a hint of slip. We'll push 1000+rwhp soon

I like the SPEC's for light PP feel and the ability to hold. You just need to pick the right one for your app. and don't slip the hell out of them or they'll die quickly.

RPS- lasted 900miles,chattered like a bitch and just doesn't hold 500rwhp at the track.

Agreed, treat you're clutch right and it will treat you right.

I would have to agree. I have had the RPS, WAYYY OVERSOLD as to ability by someones name I won't mention. It it good clutch for 500rwhp on the street.

I also have had the Spec IV and put 36,000 miles on it behind a 427. It kept going and going. Only pulled it out, when the motor was built properly by Rick at Synergy. I think it would gone 10,000 more miles

I just went to the Spec V with a SPEC aluminum flywheel, on my Custom 427 STS TT. At first, it was user hateful, but a has broken in nice enough. I think it docile enough my little wife can drive it. Still squeels sometimes in first (but no chatter). Only 250 miles on it. I heard the squeel goes away after a 1,000 miles.

I just put in my Textralia OZ700 with aluminum flywheel about 300 miles ago. I didn't quite make it through breakin when a Mustang wanted to play. It held up to my speedshifting a heavy GTO spraying a 150 shot with no problem at all. To me, you get what you pay for, and I didn't feel like doing this again for quite a while!

Default total clutch burn

had the kids in the car and went to show em some HP, needless to say revved it up, dumped the clutch and heard a tiny chirp and about 15 feet of smoking clutch that stunk like hell, car only has 49K on it and its stock. looks like its time for a new one. anyone heard anything bad about the (spec brand) clutches. pretty new here but will be changing the clutch pretty soon from the smell of it.

Everybody has different opinions on clutches. I have heard some very good things about the Spec III's and some very bad things. A buddy of mine has a Spec III clutch and he loves it, never had any problems with it and he only uses Spec. If I were to buy a clutch right now Id either buy a Textrailia, Spec III or Ram HD. Many people say that they love their Spec III and some people say they hate it. I guess it just depends on what clutch they send you, because Spec is a new company and is not perfect yet. For the most part I dont believe youll have many issues if you get a Spec clutch, and if you do, Im sure theyll be happy send you a new one, because Im sure being a new company they want their name to get out there.

clutchmasters stage 3: after i had to redrill the cover mounting holes during install, works excellent. Shitty customer service however.

Am I'm the only one?

Who is using the Luk Pro Gold and the Hays? How do you guys like them? I haven't read any feedback on these clutches.
