Unless your doing 5000 rpm dumps on slicks, I highly recommend the Z06 clutch. You can get clutch, pres. plate, and flywheel for around $350.Im at the track weekly with a H/C car, and it works great!! My 02!

OK, what mods do you have? How often do you race?

I have had various brands of clutches ( stock, Z06, Centerforce, Mcleod Rev lox, SPEC 5 ) and I am huge fan of my current Spec stage 5. It uses an unsprung iron disk and SPEC pressure plate. What I love about is the engagement is linear which makes it very driveable on the street.

Whatever you decide on, make sure and get a Mcleod adjustable master cylinder, it is the key to making any aftermarket clutch to work properly.

I had a SPEC stage 3 carbon clutch and it was ok, but a bit jerky. I have that clutch in my 00 WS6, but my 99 SS has a RAM VDS 402/6130 clutch kit, and it holds 6000 RPM clutch dumps on slicks and is just a bit more grabby then a LS6 clutch.

Well here goes I'm not trying to start anything but I ordered a Cartek Clutch about 4 to 5 weeks ago and I still don't have it. Anyone else have this problem from them? I've heard they are great clutches but everytime I call I get a different story well it shipped last week but we can't find a tracking number?????? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> At this rate my 12 bolt that I ordered last week is going to beat my clutch here. I hope there is a real reason that I cant get a clutch fromn them. I was told four days after I ordered it that me and one other person didn't get ours because they ran out of parts. I would think that in a month they could get enough parts to make two clutches. just my .02 if anyone hads had this problem let me know.
