Default Textrailia review(30 miles). M6 question. This clutch is cool!

Hey guys, My stock clutch was slipping some. I got the Textrailia 0z700 and its cool. I got new polyutherne motor mounts too. Very stock feel and shifting gears seem better and smoother.

1. Starting off is a bit tricker I guess any tips with this clutch(I haven't been driving this car a lot and with the cam .600 lift and this clutch its going ot take me some practice)(insert your fav m6 tips lol)

2. What does a pilot bushing do? The shifter feels a lot more connected and better I don't know if this made the difference or the new clutch.

Anway I'm really happy with this purchase(ws6store.com) and the feel of this clutch. I know you don't "need" a break in but i'm going to shoot fo rthe 500 mile vary the rpm's.

Thanks!

just put some DR's or slicks on the car and go play!!!!! drop it about 4k on some decent tires and it will be broken in

Starting off for me depends. If its just me in the car, ill blip the gas and dump the clutch. If I have passengers I try and make it a little more smoother.

Yea I don't know if 4k dumps help lol. but sounds fun...I just don't know if my stock 10 bolt will enjoy that.

I really like this clutch setup.

With most aftermarket clutches, you'll need to feed in some more RPMs to get it to engage somewhat smoothly. Throw in the addition of that big cam and you'll need to give it some gas while slipping the clutch to get it moving without stalling. From what I've seen, the Textralias don't need the infamous clutch drop technique for breakin.

yea going to take some practice. We got snow here about an inch which here lately only happens about ever 3years lol. but its gone in one day, so I might actually get to drive and go practice starting in a parking lot.

The shifts between gears is much smoother and nicer now though

Text rocks!

Default im excited

I cant wait to get my exoskell. I ordered it about a week ago. The fedex dude dropped off a box today and I was thinking, damn that is some fast turn around time on a clutch from Austrailia, but it was just my upgraded slave.
