HEEEELP!!! Damn clutch!!
Im just wondering if this has happened to someone. Ive never heard of it.
I had a Stage 3 Kevlar disc from SPEC. Blew that disc up when My pilot bearing went out. Ordered a stage 3 carbon disc. Now the problem.
Everyday grandma driving, its perfect. The second I get on it from 1st to 2nd, the pedal will stay on the floor. It will not come up. I can coast till I stop and it will still be stuck. I have to manually flip it up and it will work fine again till I mash it again. It never did it before the pilot bearing blew up. I did the udgraded slave about a year ago. Its done it with 2 different throw out bearings. I dont know and no one knows how to help.
It really makes driving a sad experience. <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

I have been told that you will experiance that if you do not use the McClud MC, might as wel chage the slave when you tear it down again!
Let me know what SPEC says! they have to be tired of hearing from you by now!

Adj M/C relates to PP designs other than OEM.
His problem sounds like a slave issue. May just be air in the line.
Was the entire slave replaced w/ TO bearing? New flywheel or resurfaced?

This same problem has happend to me once. I was giving a friend a ride in my, he wanted to see what the car could do. After I made a u-turn, I punched it from a slow roll in 1st, shifted to 2nd, hit 3rd, then shut it down at about 90 or so and coasted. I started braking as I was coming up to a red light, I went to clutch to down shift and my clutch was stuck to the floor. I came to a stop and the clutch was stuck down. I had to take my left toes and lift it off the floor. It popped back up and has been fine. I've even raced and did the same type of run numerous times since and it hasn't happened.
I'd like to know what caused it, it wasn't too much fun. Do you think its the slave cylinder?

Must be the slave not releasing back from the clutch fingers. In any case something is causing the slave not to retract. If it was a high RPM only issue, I'd say the diaphragm was sticking.

I got a new TOB. Resurfaced the flywheel (did it before and after that though)and a new disc. The PP was fine. I had my slave go out about a year ago and it was undrivable. Couldnt shift and pedal was floppy. I still get pressure, but its like something is not sending the pedal up. It really feels like the master cylinder is sticking. Once I flip it up its great. No weird spongy feeling. Gonna change out the master, drill out the line and then there will be new fluid in there.
We'll see, If this crap doesnt work its goin back to stock and up for sale. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />
