6 speed inc got ? for ya!
I tried to call today you where out to lunch and then i had to get back to work or i would have called you back.
Do you have a m12 or a t56 with the 2.97 gearing like the m12 ? I do drag race alot and just put a new cam and heads in the car . Its a trak cam and ls6 stage 2.5 heads with a patrick G tune here in a few days so its hopefully around 450 hp .
I just want something that will last. My tranny I have in there still hit all the gears its just that sometimes it get stuck in forth but only why I am driving. If its setting still it will go in and out all the gears with no problem? Not really sure what is going on there . I do know the clutch is shot and that is what i was getting ready to change this weekend. Pedal sticks to the floor or after a burn out it wont come outta gear. to many passed with et street slicks and hot lapping it.
I have been to several sites and seens 1386-000-011 that i would like to use but they say its not for newer cars. couldnt get threw to tremec today to just order one direct or atleast to check on a price.
Just pisses me off being my daily driver and all . Transmissions is the only thing i have took time to learn anything on. So i am kinda lost hear.

The GTO trans with the f-body shifter is what you would need. The outright transmission is $2250 including the core charge and shipping. The transmission outright comes with the triple cone blockers, new gears, new sliders, new bearings, new 1-2 billet keys, new 3-4 billet keys, bronze fork pads for the 1-4 fork and steel 3/4 fork. It will hold 700rwhp/700rwtq. We are on about a 2 week back order on the GTO trans right now but I picked up 7 cores this morning.

Hey Amber, if my T56 were to start really getting bad (shifting wise), will it always take 2 weeks to get the trans to my door?
My car is my only transportation, and I don't really trust anyone else to build the T56 correctly for a fair price, but I need to plan this perfectly and not wait until the tranny is completely toast.
As it is, the trans has trouble getting into gear about 30% of the time. Its like a guessing game when I shift.
The weird thing is, if I lift the throttle before I push clutch in, it will usually shift more smoothly(the engine or input shaft is already being decelerated), but if I let off the throttle while pushing the clutch in and let it slowly rev down, I have a harder time shifting.
Being in college sucks for keeping a car in perfect order.
EDIT: The A/C has the same effect with helping the smoothness. By dragging the motor down more than withour A/C seems to help it shift smoother.

What is shipping like for the T56 and how long does it usually take. 92677 Zip Code.
I was orignally planning to call and order the core purchase so I would only have to wait for shipping one direction. I guess it is probably just faster to ship it to you to have it rebuilt...

Shipping is free this month. Lead time is 2-3 days if you send yours to us to build. Of course it will take 3 days to get here and 3 days back based on the zip. Should be a fairly quick process since our lead time is short right now. During the winter our lead time is usually 7-10 days give or take.
