You want the Quicktime unit--it's lighter and easier to install than the MacLeod.

the mcleod is a solid piece but takes some finesse, patience, and some griding to fit along with a few choice words

you should be fine but fit the motor plate to the motor(you will have to grind the oil pand and block) while on a hoist . also enlagrge the starter hole and make sure it fits nicely first, i found that one out the hard way. also you will need some allen head bolts to hold it together where as the regular bolts they give you will not fit the bell . also line both pieces up and enlarge the holes youll be using to hold the 2 pieces together and the bellhousing ones slightly so as there not overly tigth with no movement. it will make life ALOT easier . thats about what i can think of for now

This is good info...I had to do all the same things. If the motor is out of the car, its easy....in the car it might test your patience some.

The quicktime unit looks easier to install, but not sure if it comes with the block plate or not? Without the block plate I'd say its not offering the same level of protection as the McCleod unit. I have not seen a quicktime unit in person so I could be very wrong, but its something to look into.

Slowhawk installed a Quicktime and he said it was a lot easier than the Mcleod and that it fit better. It does come with a block protector plate. Thats the one i am going with. Sounds like both can be a PITA though.
