Default best clutch and flywheel?

Street driven and street raced car. Want a clutch and flywheel that will last. Slp has a clutch that advertises 30% better than stock. Are there cluthces and flywheels any count? Should i go with a dual friction centerforce or are there any other suggestions? I am allowing about a $1,000 budget for the clutch, flywheel, and installation which I was told will run be about $150, or anther guy said he will do it for alot of beer, which will allow more money for parts. And for the flywheel Slp had one, I also thought a Fidanza might be worth the money.

Do not get a Fidanza, SLP or Centerforce. They are a lil better than stock but they will not last. My suggestion is buy a McLeod Twin disc, complete package deal is 1,200, VERY good price. I do not know if Ram clutches makes a setup for ur 96 but give Allen at Futral Motorsports a call he'll know. Ram is also a very good company. I have a Ram and for $900 I got a Adj MC, 910 disc, new steel flywheel and PP.

Either the Mecloud or the spec stage 3 or the ram. cant go wrong with either. For the guy that wants a lot of beer make sure he dosent get drunk while hes under your car.

Spec stage 3 or twin disc if you have the funds.

I agree with JeffT. Spec stage 3 (carbon) has not let me down yet. So far I have 9000 miles and several track beating on mine, and it still hold every gear with no problem.
Good Luck.

I HAVE TRIED THEM ALL AND THE ABSOLUTE BEST IS FROM A COMPANY CALLED SOUTH BEND CLUTCH. THESE ARE THE REAL PROS AND EVERY ONE IS CUSTOM MADE FOR YOUR PARTICULAR APPLICATION. IT HANDLES 600HP EASY AND LASTS!!!
