Description:

Posting my 2000 Trans Am WS6 for sale. I don’t use it enough and my wife says it takes up garage space. Either way, I bought the vehicle from the original owner in 2015 with a little over 72k miles on it. I’ve owned the vehicle for 8 years this month and have added about 4K miles. The car was completely stock when I bought it. I’ve added a Hooker Blackheart catback exhaust, Volant air intake, short throw shifter, new stereo speakers, new headlights and front turn signals and several more small items I can’t think of at the moment. Most of these items are reversible. I kept many of the parts I replaced, including the original exhaust. It was cut to be removed near the rear axle, but I assume it could be welded back together. This car is garaged at my home year round and winterized during its winter hibernation. I’m still considering keeping it, but I would need to find a garage nearby that I can store it and drive it when I choose.  This was my dream car growing up, so I had the opportunity and bought it 8 years ago.
If you have anymore questions about the car, ask away.

Good morning,
I was wondering if the WS6 Trans am is still available and if it is could I bother you for a pic of the RPO Codes on the door. It looks great in the pics could you giv eme a little more of a run down of the condition of the paint, underbelly and drive train..

Thank you, Scott

Scott,

I’ll send the picture a little later today. Paint looks great everywhere with the exception of the front bumper and headlight covers. They have some chips in them from being driven. I’m considering getting them redone. The underbody is in great shape. I’ll have to put it on the lift and take a pic. I think it was undercoated a long time ago. Some of it is still there. There’s no rust. I’m really not sure what to say about the drivetrain. It runs really nice. I had the clutch master cylinder replaced around 2016 or 2017. No issues after that.

Happy 4Th! Thanks for sending me the pics.. With the doors not being metal, why does it look as if the paint is bubbling? How is the sail panel holding up?

When I bought the car in 2015, those paint spots were there. My thought is it was an attempt at a touch up. I can take a pic of the sail panel tomorrow. It is still original. You can just see the rivets through the paint, but someone told me years ago that it’s a way to tell it’s original. It still looks great though.

Probably the best I could take for pics of the sail panel.

The sail panel issue is normal. Something about the adhesive they used on them would cause the paint to do that. It's not a fun thing to fix.
