Apparently he was caught on a wire tap trying to sell the open senate seat for personal gain. Doubt they arrested him without a airtight case. Good riddance and take your green lanes with you!

I'll tell you this state can sure pick them. 2 consecutive governors one in jail and the other one going to jail it looks like by the inditement. I wonder if we can actually have a governor stay in springfield when we pick one this time. It about made me sick to know my tax dollars were being spent flying this moron back and forth from springfield to chicago every week, and then he was re-elected...

The problem is that most people that hit the polls do not know enough about the people they elect. They hear a few adds that they paid to have aired on TV and go and vote, or they vote purely because they are rebublican/democratic.
The other thing is, you dont even get a CHANCE at position like that unless you have paid into the Dailey Machine. Can it be that there is POSSIBLY a bigger unforseen problem?

I'm just hoping this causes some kind of accountability and makes it possible for someone who knows what they are doing to get a chance to be elected. What do I know tho? Everyone around the country is looking at our state and laughing.

that guy is a douche....he should be locked up for as long as possible and he should have to personally pay for the cost of the new election that will ensue.
