Looking to get Z06 wheels chromed, they were painted black. Anyone know a good place in Indiana to do so? Live in Southern Indiana.

hey man if your car is the one i think it is your wheels are polished under the paint. The guy that got the car from me painted them...they are in my sig pic. I don't know if there is a way to get the paint off and just re polish?? I would think it would be do-able.

do you think light sand blasting would work? or hurt the chrome? I've never heard of anybody trying that.

I am not sure if that would hurt the aluminum. I would think a chemical to take off the paint and then just re-polish them back to shine. I am not sure maybe put up a post on the wheel and tire section to see anyone else has done it. If you ave any other questions about the car let me know and I will try to answer as best I can.

I think if you do a search for WickedFormula he might of had some. When I got rid of the car it was stock. I had a bunch of go fast stuff I included, but I am not sure what was put on. All i did was brakes, rims and tires. I really loved that car and am actually looking at another one exactly the same just with t-tops.

Theres a kid in north vernon that polished a set of wheels before. All you gotta do is get some stuff to strip the paint, sand em down real good and polish em with that mothers polish stuff and if you do it right they can look good.
