Default Head/Cam Install Help- IL

I don't have the money to spend $1000 to have these items professionally installed at a shop, so I thought I'd see if there is anyone on here with some experience who'd like to make some money on the side.

I'm in the Fox Lake area, but am willing to travel anywhere within reason to get this done.

If someone can help out please let me know, thanks!

Ported 241's, and 02+ LS6 cam.

I wanted to keep idle and street driveability just like stock. I feel this combo will serve me best in that area while also being cost effective.

I would help, but I'm 5 hours away. Go to ls1howto.com. They have a great article on installing h/c. It's really not that hard. Just a lot of little things.

From searching around, it appears that with full bolt-on's and the LS6 cam/heads (assuming the ported 241's will flow just as well as the stock 243's); people are putting down close to, or just over 400rwhp. That is all the power i'm looking for.

I also like that the LS6 cam won't put as much stress on the valvetrain. I don't like the idea of having to change out the springs every ~30k with a bigger cam.

Oh yea i plan on replacing the valvesprings. While everything is apart i'd like to replace whatever i can for peace of mind, pushrods, timing chain, oil pump, etc.
