Can anyone here mount and balance 28s on my 15x8 prostars and then modify my fenders/rear bumper to fit them?
What places would you recommend?

The radials dont expand like the et streets or the et drags. The wheels should be balanced otherwise your going to feel vibrations at high speeds. The tires might expand a little but from my experience I didnt have a problem with it.

Cut the bump stops off and maybe take a big *** hammer to the inner wheel well. Im not completely sure about how much needs to be beaten in since i was running 325 and not 275. You should have no problem get these tires to fit in there. Prolly going to be a lot of test fitting.

And Rob, I already have a set of BMR LCA's in my car. I'm gonna need a PHB to center my rear though

you wont need to cut any metal to fit them, but i would roll your fenders, nothing is worse is when you launch and your fender lip cuts your new tires. I have a fender rolling tool and heat gun ill let you borrow for cheap, its super easy to do and really is necessary if your running 28" or taller.

yea you cant tell its done, it rolls the lip under the fender back against the inside of the fender, its super easy and takes about an hour per side if you take breaks. yea theres a video that shows how its done here...

Put an ad on craigslist, NEED HELP. I put mine on by hand. If you have big *** pry bars you should be able to do it too. You can get a balancer from northern tool for less than 100. But you probably wont need to balance them.
i had run mine see where they rub, BFH mod. Had to do this several times. I can tell you from the get go, try and beet the little piece of steel that is near the LCA. The rear tires have so many possible angles you will most likly have to test them to see where they will rub. Your tires can go straght up, up and left, up and right, up and all over hahah.
