Gas milage should i exspect? with a possible 87 pickup

im pickin up my new dd for the winter sunday. Im going to look at a 87' chevy short bed 2 wheel drive, i believe its a c10. What kind of milage could i exspect on it? My trans am is my dd and i get 22 mpg. i have no idea about trucks is why I ask? thxs.....

haha thats kewl not really bitch'n just awsome my 400+ fbody gets 21-22 haha. But i have a 20 mile commute to work but oh well cant wait to get it really finally be able to put some et streets on the back of the t/a

87 is a fuel injected year which is nice. My 87 chevy 4x4 had 35" tires and i got 15mpg city and like 10 mpg hwy lol. It didn't have enough power to pull itself on the highway in overdrive haha. Of course my truck had a 305.
