Speed inc. Yes or no?
I have a m6 2000 trans am. It has a few bolt ons and im looking to get a cam soon. The thing im curious about is wether to get it done at speed inc. or not. Can someone give me personal experiences or opinions on the shop. I would have them do one of their cam specials on my car in the next coupe of months.

Larry has treated me well in the past not sure that the rest of the staff have as good of customer service skills though. Work is top notch, they will shoot you straight.
Work done: dyno tunes and a drive shaft swap.

I can vouch for them as all 3 of my cars are worked on there.

i buy all my parts from there, and do the work myself.
Speed did a few diagnostic/repair jobs for me and computer tune. They did a great job.
Larry is cool and very helpful. He will help you pick the best cam for you needs. Speeds custom grinds are excellent cams.

I buy all my parts from Speed Inc and they've done a ton of work on my '00 Camaro and '07 Trailblazer SS. They are a great shop and do top notch work!!! If your thinking about getting one of their cams I'd definately recommend their SI5 cam 231/237 .589/.595. My car is an m6 and I made over 400rwhp thru a 9" rearend with this cam. I've also run a best E.T. of 11.23@121 with it. I'm shooting for 10s with it this year. Btw my car is 100% street friendly and still gets 25+mpg on the highway.

Ya, I too would also HIGHLY RECOMMEND Speed Inc to work on your car. I have gone in there several times to speak to Larry and he is a great guy to help figure out the best plans/ setups for any LS1. Larry has taken real good care of me when I have brought my car to the shop(Tunes,Repairs,etc...)
Can't wait for Summer 2010!
Larry, I will be e-mailing you soon. I got a grocery list of stuff needed to be done for the car.
SPEED INC FTW!!

Speed Inc is definitely top notch. Larry and the guys are are easy to work with and know their stuff. If you are not sure what parts to put on, they'll give you good advice depending on what your goal for the car is.
I have been replacing/ upgrading all the worn out parts on my 98 Trans Am over the past couple years and have had the below done by them:
-complete BMR suspension package installed in 2008
-new gears (4.10s) in 2009
-new intake & throttle body, headers/y-pipe/exhaust, & tune in 2009
The car now rides better, sounds better, has more power and is much faster than when I bought it thanks to Speed Inc.
