Dyno tune around STL
I was looking into getting my car retuned. Has a shitty tune in it. Was leaning toward P2 Motorsports. Was wondering if any body has had anything done by Pauly or any other suggestions. Thanks

i would check out Pur Performance in st. charles. ive heard only good things about their work. however i would say stay away from redline performance! they do alot of copy and paste kinda tunes from what ive seen. just my 2 cents

I have to disagree with the negative comment towards Redline Performance Motorsports... Tim who tunes the cars through Redline is very good at what he does..If youd like some more info or have any questions just pm me.

IM sure that is the case with everyone. I had mine done at muscle mustangs of all places. Had a friend had his MUSTANG done there and they said they could do mine. That is a full throttle tuner only. Streetability sucks *****. But I quess thats what I get for going to a Mustang Shop. I have heard good things about Pauly at P2. But havent heard much. He just works a couple of days a week there and Sat by apt now. Heard of a good guy in Springfield but dont want to drive that far. Any way the more input the better

Been doing some more research sounds like Keith McCord is one hell of a tuner. He is at Pur Performance now is that right? That would be close to me as well. Any other thoughts.

I have to agree with this statement.
I was working 80 hours a week and paid to have my car tuned by Keith McCord after my cam installation. It bucked terribly. Running errands around town required giving it gas to restart after shutting it off. I sent it back and explained what the car was doing, he went over the tune. It still bucked when the converter locked at anything under 55mph and the warm start idle still sucked. I took it to the track to see how it would run and was disappointed with a 12.5x @ 108. I played with the tune and got it to run a 12.40 @ 110 same day. Changed converter from a vig to Circle D and improved to a 12.1 @ 111mph. Times stated are n/a times.

so who would you recomend to get a tune? My other choice was Pauly at P2 motorsports. I have the same issue. Warm start ups suck and it bucks all the time. I have a MS3 cam.

you will always hear good and bad. keith mccord did mine and ddid a good job. redline has done some good ones and some crappy ones also. alot of it depends on if the car is ready to be tuned and put together right.
