Summit used to have all the seats displayed about a year or so ago, including that, and it wasn't horrible for a short time, but it's nothing I would consider, even in a drag car. You considering buying it or just curious?

I'm going to be buying. I want to see what it feels like and make sure I order the right one.

It wasn't comfy but it wasn't horrendous either. But add a few bumps into your ride (if you dd it) and I'm sure it'll become annoying as it's hard aluminum.

I'm sure it's not comfortable. I just need to make sure I can get in this particular size. I'm 6'1" and 240 with a large build. Need to make sure I don't to order some custom nonsense.

No one with 18" seats? I thought Chicagoland had tons of race cars.

I've had 17 and 18" in my camaro. You should be fine with a 17" seat with cushion. I'm way bigger than you and the 17 was fine. I got an 18 because I needed another seat so I slapped the 17 in the passenger side and got an 18 for my big ***. With the cushioned covers its really pretty nice. Maybe a local speed shop has some you can test out? I sat in some at Burkharts and the 17 was fine.

I'll take your word for it. I plan on getting the Kirkey covers too.

I'll give PR Pete a call and see what he's got at his shop, he's right down the block.

Thanks TS6.

PR Pete is a little guy, but I bet he has Kirkey's in his F3 Camaro.

I had 17's, I'm 6-6'1 and 220 and was not snug at all.

Figured I would update this thread.

I put 17" seats in my car a couple months ago and they're honestly more comfortable for me than the stock TA seats. I used to get back aches with the stock seats. I got the black tweed covers with them and there's a good amount of padding in them. I could drive for a long time in these seats, no problem.
