Default People who have raced at US 41 DragStrip

Hey everyone, I’m planning on go to US41 this up comming Sunday.
I was wondering how is the track prep there.
How does the track compare to any of the other tracks such as Byron, GLD, RT.66, Cordova?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
I plan on going out there with the GTO and C6 ZR1, keeping my fingers crossed that track prep is good, need to get this ZR1 in the 10's

Have someone line you up in the tire tracks of the car that runs before you and you should hook ok.Stay in the last lane by the wall and wait for a big tire car to get in line then get behind him,so you can run in his tracks. Also, drive around the water, then back into it to keep water from dragging it up to the starting line. You can do what ever you want to at that track, they dont care. Good Luck.

track prep is ****. Its hit and miss but like stated above, wait for a big tire car and get in his groove quick while its still tacky. Ask Chris1313 how this method works lol....

FWIW, GLD, Byron, Cordova, WIR, will all let you run clocks off for no additional charge as well.

Thats true, considering guys like you were pulling the tires at KOTS.

I've had good luck at SCC events with track prep and also been there on wednesday nights and couldn't get my bolt on car to work at all. 1.61 60' at SCC vs. 1.99 60' on TNT
