Any street tuners in Rochester MN area? I want to get my formula tuned in the spring. Willing to drive less than 100 miles one way. HPTuners only please.

It comes out to $414 out the door, then he will do easy things for free after (gear changes, speedo recalibration, ect.) and only charges $100 for any future tunes on the vehicle (going from bolt-ons to heads/cam). He street tunes them, but will dyno by request I believe. What all is done to your car?
You could also look into TPIS in chaska. This is where I dynoed my car, and they are very nice guys and take the time to do things right. They charge by the hour for tuning I believe.
Another option that I considered was HiTech, but I heard some very bad stories about them and they charge $500+. (I did find 2 people that were happy with them)

IMO at least wait till you get headers to get a tune, and don't get a mail order tune.
Think of it like this, your going to spend ~$100+ for this mail order tune and see very little gain, then down the road spend the $414 for a real tune. This will set you back $500+, when for the same money you could get the $414 street tune then the $100 re-tune that carl offers when you change your set up.
A mail order tune is "guessing" what your car will run well with. Why would you risk it when you have multiple reputable tuners so close to you? A local tuner will hook up a wideband and optimize the tune (A/F and timing), and drivability specifically for your car. Thats just my opinion, it the car auto or manual?

yes they do. and they do good work but its kinda exsensive too. they want 550 for a full tune last time they did a NA engine. right now i have about 1300 in my tune so far from tpis. and i would go with carl or tpis dont go to high tech they suck. i blew 1200 in my tune from them and i couldnt unluck the pcm when i got it back. for future tuning.

I have a formula. For exhaust I'm looking for kooks 1 7/8s and tsp/kooks/ar y pipe or tsp/kooks true duals. I don't mind spending $150 on a mail order from frost. He comes highly recommended on this site. It's an automatic.
