Default Tuner in Cincinnati, OH

I am getting ready to install a cam and everything the goes along with it in my C6 LS2. I was wondering what shop and/or tuner everyone recommends in my area?

Both S&M and Cincy Speed are fairly close to me.

I may have them go ahead and do the install depending on cost as well.

S&M gets my vote. Adam is a good guy to work with. He tunes a wide range of cars too, from street to really fast race cars.

If Cincy Speed is in your area, it seems hard to justify searching elsewhere.

There are people you just have to ask around. Sometimes it's not a shop.

Skaats Precision Motorsports. Nick worked at CincySpeed and started his own shop when they closed.

I second Skaats Precision Motorsports in Hebron KY.

He tuned my 03 Silverado and will be going there to tune my 95 Z28 once the 24x is complete.

Weird. My post listing some tuning locations in OH and KY just disappeared from this thread.

Because of moderators and how those shops are not paid vendors I would guess.

This board is less interested in making sure the members get good information and is more interested in making money from sponsors?

Vendors pay money to the board to be able to market themselves...if someone comes on here to post their services (which you pay money to get) then yes, the moderators will shut it down in order to keep paying vendors happy.

Moderators can't come close to filtering "good information" on this board. It's all opinion/experience based posts. But they will crack down when it comes to people discussing buying parts from non paying vendors or services from non paying vendors/shops.

A place that sells parts I can understand, but a list of regional shops that tune cars can't be posted if they are not paying vendors? What if there is no local sponsor near the location in question?

It's possible that a paying vendor does some shady crap, but can get away with it since they pay? Or are we allowed to share negative feedback with the other members here to warn of shady practices?

Also, if I ask about a particular part, service, or shop, I may not get complete and accurate feedback because someone may have really good information for me, but it may pertain to a "non-sponsor" and will be deleted. In other words, membership here gets sold out.
