Zero gains with the Granatelli wires. Car put down 428/418 at the tires. Put the wires on and ran again. 427/417.
I'm not real happy with the numbers but it is what it is. I was expecting about 30 more rwhp but got about 20 more ft lbs. I will try to get it to the track soon if the rain ever stops.

Wires rarely pick up anything. It usually improves the part throttle feel due to a cleaner spark.
And I know Im late but ethanol from stuff other than corn is already being made in parts of the country. I think its Florida and Arizona that has the active plants and there are like 20 in the building process with more being planned.
Since 2002 to 2010, ethanol production in the US grown almost 500%.
Its gonna be an important fuel for a long while to come.

But we will never come close to meeting all of US's demand. We need something else, something that we could use the renewable energy into cars. CNG is kindda new too that I just found out haha.

Never say never. If anything, I want the US to have its own fuel source because China and India are using far more fuel than we can ever think about here in NA.
Right now, its expensive. Its gonna be expensive to build new plants and to make new fuels. Hell, even oil exploration is subsidized by the government.

Yeah, the next thing I'm getting is some et streets and line lock (that isn't a repair). I had to spend over $200 for ignition cylinder and keys for it
