Orangebird, are you saying you want to go to BB Saturday?

They only tell you if they are closed on their forums.

I called BB, they said there is no water on the track, but the river will crest later today and then they will know for sure.

Installing a good torque converter is amazing. It will take a few days to get use to having to give it more gas to get moving but you will get use to it quick then you won't even notice it. Smack the gas from a slow roll or dead stop and hang on!

"Friday April 29th

The rain is finally over and the weather looks good for this weekend no flooding occurred at BBRP so we will be on our normal schedule this weekend."

Since it looks like just us two, when/where do you want to meet at?

Are there not any tuners close to you?

There's one in Owensboro and Louisville but I don't know anything about either. There's a guy running around in a black SS that has his tuned in Owensboro. He said he is pretty happy with it but it doesn't run great when it's cold. I have the same issue.

Its hard for a tuner to get the cold running good because when they are doing the tuning the car is almost always warm. I bought HPTuners to do my own because my tuner is in NC where I moved from.....I took care of those problems quick

Yeah I figure I will just have to live with it till I get HP tuners and start learning how to tune. I know it's impossible for a tuner to put the time in to get all aspects of the car perfect.

I'm glad that some people can understand that.....there are those out there that will just talk **** about that kind of stuff. I am not a tuner just sayin....As for the mail order tune, its a good starting point and I here Frost is really good. Every car is different though and I know he doesn't have a car he can put all identical mods on to test it.....

Tires. On my first run, which I only did 2 runs, my clutch was on the floor for a long bit. Later on, I could smell the clutch.
