Default Schedule for Midnight Street Races at Eddyville Raceway Park

Here is the tentative schedule for our street racing program this year. There is no real pattern to these events. We have added yet another program to our schedule and we just don't have the space to do it a certain Friday of each month.

The events will go from 10pm - 3am. I am considering not having all the lights on, just for an added "street race" effect.

This event is for street racing. You guys, I'm sure, have been doing this on the street for years. This event will be no different other than there will be a prepped street to race on and it costs a little to get in.

Come to our program to settle rivalries, money races, etc... I will mark the guardrails out 10 car lengths, so if anyone wants to spot someone out...its doable. If you don't want your time shown on the scoreboards, a simple N/T under your number will do the trick. Air and fuel will be available at the track, no problem.

If anyone has any thoughts or concerns, feel free to call me. I'm going to be getting a land line at the track before long, until then call my cell phone. 660-216-4937

Again, this event will be for street racing. Not Test & Tune! We will have our regular Test & Tune on Friday nights from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

Thanks!
Wes Buck

Tentative Schedule:

May 13th, 2005
June 24th, 2005
July 22nd, 2005
August 26th, 2005
September 23rd, 2005

All ricers drive through the water box no matter WHAT track you go to....

*I* cut 1.20 60's ALL day long at the grove. It's probably NOT the tracks fault why you dont hook...

...and RSD ALWAYS runs until midnight and starts at 3 PM...thats NINE friggen hours of racing. There is no need for it to go any later.

Sorry about hijacking the thread.

I would like to maybe come down and check out the Midnight madness thing some time though... It would be nice to just be a "racer" for a change.

Ok...I got to agree on one thing....GLD doesnt do the best of prep on regular days..But the RSD events is a whole different WORLD!

Ricers?? Hahahaahahaha...you ask anyone that has been to our events...Tuff and Myself pick on them hard core...and I will stand infront of them and not let them do that...I HATE THAT..I have a Turbo'd Busa and look out for the bikes more then the cars..and they dont like water in anyway. So ...please...dont knock it till you try it!

Again...I have many cars from different classes of races that have said the same thing about GLD...but gave it a try on the RSD nite and loved it! if a Mid 7 sec car can get down the track..and mid 7 second bikes can...I think the track hooks good! Plus....Me and Tuff pride ourselves on how well we prep the track on the RSD events.

Again....dont knock it till you try it!

Yea, feel free to come out and play with us sometime. I will have my personal car at these events trying to tear something up. Come down and we'll BBQ and have a good time.

Just let me know before hand. I think it'd be fun to bring down some of the Chi-Town cars and have a little battle royale.

When does Eddyville open for the year? We need to get in there to do some testing very soon, and we would like to get the clutch set up down there.

It's only a few miles south of Oskaloosa. You can take 163 from Des Moines and follow all the way to the track. Just over an hour from Des Moines.

Hey guys! Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed the event!! We had 143 cars/bikes racing and nearly 500 spectators. It was an overwhelming turnout, especially considering the 30 degree temperatures and 60% chance of rain all day and night. It was unreal!

Thanks to everyone who came out, come back and we'll have even more fun!!!
